Partial Hospitalization Services

Partial Hospitalization Services at Chestnut Ridge Center Chestnut Ridge's Partial Hospitalization Program is an intensive treatment program for adults who do not require inpatient hospitalization.  This program provides a structured, therapeutic environment during the day as a method for the patient to attain treatment in order to prevent the need for hospitalization.

A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, nurses, art therapists and other mental health professionals staff the Partial Hospitalization Program.

Partial Hospitalization offers many benefits to patients, including a structured daily schedule of activities, intensive treatment including group and individual therapy, medical management and the opportunity to remain in their home. Partial Hospitalization also may help to lay the groundwork for follow-up therapy and facilitate the transition from inpatient care.
