Chronically Mentally Ill (CMI) Program
This program is designed for adults ages 18 and above who have experienced long-standing mental health issues and who require intensive community services. Patients are given an initial psychiatric evaluation and meet weekly with a psychiatrist for medical review. Daily groups focus on problem solving, medication evaluation, and managing chronic mental illnesses.
The purpose of this program is to provide patients with intensive outpatient treatment in order to avoid unnecessary hospitalization and to help the patient be successful in his/her home environment.
Program hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Transportation and lunch are provided.
