Nursing Education is a division of the Department of Education, Training, and Development at West Virginia University Hospitals. Our Mission is to provide quality education, training, and development opportunities for our organization, our people, and our community through teaching, modeling, coaching, and consulting.
We offer educational classes that cover a wide variety nursing and health care skills including: General, Critical Care, Maternal/Child, Medical Surgical, Oncology Nursing, Mentoring Skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support.
Our Nurse Educators can help you increase patient satisfaction and improve clinical outcomes through customized clinical education courses and learning events tailored to your needs. We offer a comprehensive curriculum of clinical education and development courses for the health care professionals serving in direct patient-care roles such as registered nurses, nurse practitioners, practical nurses, clinical associates, and support associates.
