Traci Berry-Harris, Ph.D. a graduate of West Virginia University, holds a BA degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Counseling, and a Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology. She completed her internship at the American Psychological Association- accredited Child and Adolescent Service Center in Canton, Ohio. Dr. Berry-Harris practices as a supervised psychologist in both an academic and private practice setting.
A member of the Forensic Division in the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry, Dr. Berry-Harris provides standardized testing for all manner of criminal and civil issues. She interprets psychological, intellectual, personality and sex offender assessments that are used independently and conjointly with others in the Division. She has participated in over one hundred evaluations and is a valued consultant in many cases.
Her areas of special interest and experience include: comprehensive testing of children and adolescents, psycho-educational testing, parental fitness evaluations, and the assessment of malingering. She has been qualified to offer expert testimony in a number of state court cases.
She teaches a class at the West Virginia College of Law and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the West Virginia Psychological Association.
