Brian Quigley, MDBrian Quigley, MD, a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, completed his general psychiatry residency and advanced training in forensic psychiatry at West Virginia University.

Clinically, Dr. Quigley provides care to the WVU student population through his leadership at the Student Health Services. His consultation liaison role with Ruby Memorial Hospital to achieve excellence in the health care of cardiovascular patients promises to be an innovative addition to the growing psychiatric consultation liaison service at WVU. Such experiences serve to add to the diagnostic foundation Dr. Quigley has achieved in the formulation of expert opinions for criminal and civil forensic psychiatry cases. He has served as an expert in over a 100 cases and has been qualified to testify in several state courts.

As Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at WVU, he is responsible for the coordination and instruction of several courses for general psychiatry residents. Finally, he has been a guest speaker in the field of civil commitment and medical malpractice at the West Virginia College of Law.

He is board certified in general psychiatry and is board eligible in forensic psychiatry.  He is licensed to practice medicine in West Virginia.
