WVU Headache Center
At some point, everyone has had the occasional headache. But for 3 to 4 percent of the population, chronic headaches are a daily occurrence.
Bariatric Surgery Program
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2002, approximately 27.5 percent of West Virginians were classified as obese – defined as having a body mass index of 40 or greater, or being at least 100 pounds overweight.
September Stride
The September Stride, an annual 5K (3.1 mile) run and walk benefiting children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary problems, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13. The race is sponsored by West Virginia University Hospitals' Rehabilitation Services Department.
