Caring for the mental health of West Virginians
Chestnut Ridge is celebrating 20 years as the region’s leading center for the treatment of mental health and addiction problems.
We’re also marking a second milestone this year. To better reflect our full range of services, which includes extensive outpatient and counseling services as well as inpatient and “day hospital” programs, we are changing our name to Chestnut Ridge Center.
The Center will continue to house our 70-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital. It’s also the home of the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine.
Our expert team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses, and other professionals not only offer the highest quality of mental health and counseling services, they are state leaders in advancing the cause of mental health in West Virginia.
Treatment for mental health problems has made remarkable strides in the 20 years since Chestnut Ridge opened, and we’ve been at the forefront of change. We’re committed to leading the way for the next 20 years as well.
