Cancer Prevention and Control was awarded a contract to author the 2016 West Virginia Cancer Burden Report. This comprehensive report provides in-depth analyses of WV cancer data at the state and county level and will benefit cancer researchers, educators, advocates, and policy makers. 

The WVU Cancer Institute is committed to addressing cancer health disparities to improve health outcomes of West Virginians. As part of an ongoing effort to raise cancer awareness and highlight cancer control programs across the State, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and the WVU Cancer Institute are pleased to announce the release of the 2016 West Virginia Cancer Burden Report. Included in this report are information, graphics, and resource pages on cancers that have screening tests available including breast, cervical, colorectal and lung cancer.
