William Cordwell, a housekeeping assistant with Environmental Services, and Alberta Wilfong, a unit clerk with Nursing Services, were recognized as the longest-serving WVU Medicine employees, each with 45 years of service, at a dinner held Sept 21 at the Morgantown Event Center.

In all, 631 employees with 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of service, along with retirees, were invited to the banquet and received an award packet.

Shane Lyons, WVU director of athletics, was the guest speaker.

The WVU Medicine Department of Marketing and Communications produced multiple videos saluting the honorees:
