BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- A free “Dining with Diabetes” workshop series will begin on Tuesday, April 11 with classes to follow on April 18, 24, and May 1 at the WVU Upshur Extension office.

The workshop will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and will include diabetes education; a healthy food demonstration with recipes; and a physical activity to benefit health. It is open to those with diabetes or those who cook for individuals with diabetes.

The workshop is presented by the WVU Upshur Extension office and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
