WVU’s Office of Health Services Research is partnering with the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, the Pacific Chronic Disease Council (PCDC), and others to reverse the rising threats posed by non-communicable diseases (NCD) in the U.S. Associated Pacific Islands. Since 2009, PCDC, a council of the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, has provided leadership in the development of a Pacific NCD Collaborative Initiative, proactively targeting healthcare system transformations and expanding population outreach in the region.
