Morgantown, West Virginia: West Virginia University committed to the National It’s On Us campaign in January 2015, to further its proactive efforts to eliminate sexual assault and power-based personal violence from campus. WVU continues its support of April’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month the It’s On Us campaign by hosting YouTube sensation Laci Green this Wednesday, April 20th at 7:00 pm in Ming Hsieh G-21.

Laci Green is a sex education activist and YouTube sensation. Her channel, Sex +, is viewed by over five million people every month, which makes her one of the most popular sexual violence prevention advocates and sex educators accessed outside the classroom. She tackles subjects including body image, sexuality, gender, relationships, feminism, and sex education for the internet.  Her channel can be viewed at:

The mission of Sex + is to entertain, educate, and connect internationally with Sex Plus viewers, as well as:

✔ Promote a comprehensive model of sex education using technology.

✔ Provide a feminist framework for sex education and discourse.

✔ Improve accuracy and inclusivity of sex education online and off.

✔ Facilitate productive conversations about Sex Plus topics.
