Miller joins staff at WVU Eye Institute

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Jamie Miller, M.D., has joined the West Virginia University Eye Institute as an assistant professor of ophthalmology. He will be seeing patients with both medical and surgical diseases of the retina.

Dr. Miller specializes in the treatment of retinal detachment repair, macular hole repair and diabetic retinopathy. WVU’s state-of-the-art technical capabilities, featuring some of the most advanced imaging equipment available, allow its physicians to offer outstanding results in treating retinal disease.

A graduate of WVU, Miller did his internship and residency at the Eye Institute, serving as chief resident in 2008. He completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at WVU in 2009. Miller is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
