Depression is a serious medical illness that involves the brain. It's more than just a feeling of being "down in the dumps" or "blue" for a few days. The feelings you may have don’t go away, and they interfere with your everyday life.

If you think you are suffering from depression, there is help. The most common treatments for depression are psychotherapy and medication.

At Chestnut Ridge Center, we offer counseling and treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
