Pediatric Cardiology

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the WVU Department of Pediatrics and WVU Children’s Hospital is a multi-disciplinary team of pediatric cardiologists, nurse practitioners, residents, and nurses, who work together to treat children with complex congenital heart disease. In conjunction with our pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, anesthesiologists, and intensivists, the team is an integral part of the pediatric cardiothoracic surgery program as well.

Our team provides core cardiac services to children throughout the state of West Virginia and the surrounding areas. The cardiologists staff outreach clinics in Beckley, Huntington, Lewisburg, Martinsburg, Parkersburg, Princeton, and Wheeling to further improve the health of the region.

The team offers a full range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of congenital heart defects, arrhythmias, acquired heart disease, hypercholesterolemia, and cardiomyopathies.

In addition to the above services, all members of the Pediatric Cardiology Division of the WVU School of Medicine are active participants in research and the education of residents, students, nurses, and staff at WVU Hospitals, as well as throughout the region.
