The Cranial Base Surgery Center at West Virginia University specializes in the treatment of complex medical conditions involving lesions at the base of the skull.
These include tumors, congenital anomalies, and infectious or inflammatory conditions. Because of the many important structures located in this area, cranial base lesions have long been some of the most difficult challenges for neurosurgeons and their patients.
Recent advances in imaging technologies and surgical techniques have led to major improvements in our ability to provide effective treatments. The WVU Cranial Base Surgery Center provides a team of experts skilled in the most advanced techniques, the latest technologies, and help for conditions that often were previously considered untreatable.
